In-Home Services

All services are designed to help seniors remain independent and in their own homes as long as possible.  Providers are held to the highest level of confidentiality and are required by law to record and report changes in a client's condition and home environment.

As with most programs offered by PICCOA, donations are requested but not required.  Donations help to support the In-Home Services programs.

Personal Care

Personal Care assists seniors with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, eating and ambulation.  Our services are non-professional and are offered twice a week for one hour.

Homemaking

Homemaking is the performance of basic household duties such as laundry, ironing, meal preparation, shopping for needed items (groceries, prescriptions) and running errands.  Light housekeeping can also include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, making beds, and overall maintaining a safe environment for the senior to live in.  Homemaker Care is available for two hours once a week.

Respite Care

Respite Care provides short-term relief for primary caregivers of seniors.   Services include companionship, supervision and/or assistance with activities of daily living.  Respite care may also include light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services.

Donation Schedule

PICCOA receives state and federal dollars to help support the In-Home Services Programs.  These dollars are not enough to meet the needs of the client in our community.  If you are a recipient of one of the above In-Home Service programs and are able/willing to donate, please consider using the following guideline for making a donation::
