The month of May not only presents Mother’s Day but a couple of other traditions as well. One tradition across the world is the traditional spring festival and holiday festivals that in some cultures are celebrated with dancing, singing and eating cake. One tradition I (Dianna) recall as a youngster was the May Basket Day. People would gather flowers and goodies to put in baskets to secretly hang on the doors of friends, neighbors and loved ones. What a time of innocence and fun.
